The Dead and Dying Man

The dead and dying man

Couldn't raise his head

There are people really dead and dying

Came his inner voice

Always pointing

Like a hound

"But my head is pounding," he said.

As if evil or was it good

Trying to get out

Couldn't?

Said the dead and dying man

"Life goes on out here without you

I know I don't matter

In the huge ball of wax."

Yet there would be no ball

Of wax

Without all of

The dead and dying

People

Perhaps someday

When there is no dead and dying

But that is never

Yes but this sickness

Inside

Burns because it is apart of life

And that truly can be said for all human malady

But my dream?

The dead and dying man said

"My dream that people not harm people."

No matter how inhuman un-human it sounds

What of my dream?

Said the dead and dying

Say It So People Can Hear

Is the opportunity for world peace here now?

Maybe if we want world peace badly enough?

Maybe we already do?

Maybe all we need to do is say it so people can hear it?

Are We Dead Already?

If we think we can't change the world around us.

Pieces of Heart

This life we are living is like a bad joke.

Society has brought our life to being about money.

We don't want that.

Even those with money don't want this.

We have a conundrum....a difficult problem to see our way past.

We are about money, but we think there is no better way in the world to live.

Besides, it is what we have....what else do we do when we can't stop the money machine, even if we wanted to?

We talk to one another honestly.

We can't though; certainly at work, honesty can often lead to major problems.

At home, we tend to need to let so much go, our family is not our idea of a family.

And if we choose to not let stuff go, it seems like we are the ones with the problem.

I know if I can't be honest, I feel dead inside.

When I am honest, it often leads to pain for me or those around me.

So....we stop being so honest and life slides by easier.

Because when we fight, a little bit of our heart seems to break each time.

Imagine how much heart we would have if it never gets broken?

Can we try to never break a kids heart?

It is our heart we would be healing.

THE END OF THE TUNNEL

We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We know that people, all people, need to get along.

We didn't use to know that.

Now, we may think we can't or that God is in control, but we do know if we could, we should   get along.

We finally (Or maybe we always have?) can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I for one think that we don't need to be in this tunnel at all.

There is a beautiful world out there, right here, and all we need to do is open up ourselves to it.

The tunnel we are in will cease to exist and the light will be all around us.

But I guess that we are afraid that things could be worse.

It appears to me that we have inadvertently created a self-fulfilling prophecy:

We are afraid we are doomed because of our weaknesses, so we don't really try to change.

Are we letting our fear keep us down, keep us shut in this tunnel?

I believe that because of fear, many of us have given God our life and that belief keeps us in the dark, because we think only God deserves the light.

And that we can only hope to share the light with God when we are dead.

That is where we are wrong. God wants us to be the light now...in life...while we are breathing and whole.

We deserve the light too...and if we don't, let us start to deserve it....

If we, all people, can get along, wonderful things will begin to happen....truly wonderful things.

LOVE AND HONESTY

World Peace….is what we dream about…or perhaps dreaming is too impossible….its what we pray for…..but is even that too impossible?

World Peace is what may happen….it seems unlikely it will happen to us….it  seems like it can only be true if life is the like the song and be “but a dream.”

We are taught though that dreams can come true….everyone wants their dreams to come true….what if we can make all of our dreams come true?

Maybe we need to make our reality our dream and our dream our reality?

But how….how do we get humans together? 

We have never been all together…..even in our own family we have a hard time getting along…..even in our own mind we are unsure of our path.

Love and Honesty is the key to our future…. We have found the love, now it is time to bring the honesty.

Being with God

Being with God is hard.

Is it because we aren't sure who God is?

Or the thought of being in the light is so shaking a thought

It scares us

When really there is nothing to fear, but fear itself?

So how can we beat fear

Or at least give ourselves the chance to grow to a time

We can be unafraid?

Sun and Clouds

How do we be in the loving place?

With everyone?

With God?

We are so afraid

Of who?

Of God?

Of ourselves?

Of clouds?

What is the truth?

I know the truth lies in you.

The sun comes to my heart when I think of you.

Then too much I comes and darkness is not far behind.

The light is in us all.

These Tiny Wonderful Beautiful Little Pieces Of Life That Are All Around Us

All we need to do is stop - together...that's it - the planning, the everything it will take for us to stop - will take us seamlessly to whatever comes next....

By stopping we'll be setting the stage... to open the door...of the future.  And what I believe will happen then is that when we stop, we'll see there is no wall even holding the door...because we'll be where we want to be. We'll be quiet so that we can hear ourselves think and listen to what the world is trying to tell us. And then we will slowly start to speak - honoring the silence, each other, and ourselves.

Now...how do we all stop together? By just opening your eyes and saying this is right...not me...what you know...what you see when you open your mind to breathing...to everything...to yourself...to the limitless possibilities of this life.

I've been telling you what I see. I think you see the same thing. I bet my life on it. The place where we are together is the place where we open our eyes, really our mind, and see the parts to the whole. I feel it like breathing...like every molecule is saying, "Here I am...feel me...listen..." Every speck of everything is saying where we can be...it is right here in front of us.

Let us please, stop complicating everything and move on...from these tiny wonderful beautiful little pieces of life that are all around us.

We can put behind us this mess we have made and move on....from these tiny wonderful beautiful little pieces of life that are all around us. We can use the specks of perfection...which is all of life...to move to somewhere where we can like each other...now.

Waiting For God

People, are we waiting for God to get us to peace?

What more do we want God to do than God has already done?

What else do we want God to show us other than God already has?

Now it is our turn.

It was always going to come down to us.

If we think we are unworthy and we get to world peace, grand...

But if we think we are unworthy and we don't, not so grand...

If we think we must die first to get to God...

We will be telling God that we don't want this life God has given us...

We would be telling God, we can't be of the flesh....

Why would God have given us this body if God didn't think we were worthy to have it?

The Truth

We all know the truth.

 So how to get to our objective?

 What is our objective?

Getting 7+ billion people to get along.

Crying

The sun rises

And people are killed.

We live, laugh

And people are killed

By one another

Every day, throughout history.

The time for crying is here.

When we are busy

Trying to avert our eyes

We yet peek through our fingers

Looking at the death we bring

Everyday to others

Crying for others

Crying for ourselves.

When children die

For lack of food or water

We can do something

But how to help them

When our life is so difficult?

By having no US or THEM

Only a WE

All for 1 and 1 for all.

We need to cry now

So someday perhaps

We won't have to

At least not in pain.

We will cry because of joy

Joy so deep in us

That our body isn't able to hold it

And we will have it flow out of us

In such wonderful tears

And our fellow humans will hold us and kiss away our tears

As the sun rises on this amazing planet of ours.

I have a question for Osama Bin Laden.

What do you want?

People who are killing yourselves, what do you want?

Many people in America, do not care what you want, only want you dead.

I don’t want anybody dead, but if you don’t care whether we live or die, then what happens?

The problem is in the “we” and the “them…” As long as there is an us and a them and we disagree.… (But what do we really disagree about.? We want to be loved…right?)

Until we are a global We, there will always groups like Us and groups like Them and though the “Us” and “Them” will change throughout time, there will always be those 2 groups.

Unless we figure out how to be 1 happy group.

Now back to my question….is your vision…for the world to be as your dreams think it can be?

Everyone working together being able to believe freely and someone else’s life not cause fear in your way of life…

We can ALL say that, right?

Are we going to be stupid enough to fight for the rest of eternity with groups of “Others” until someday when we finally grow up enough to understand that “We” are the “We” and no matter what we do to ignore that fact, it is true nonetheless….and I want today to be the day where we say, you know what, “I agree,, we are stuck. I know we are stuck in a nasty situation and we need to do something about it.” Okay people, so then quit having that cause you fear and fight back by opening yourself up and breathe and be alive and yell out loud that you want life to be different and be brave enough to make it so….

Which means including every one of the people here…. FINE….We know that, JUST HOW can that possibly get done?

It can’t, I know it can’t…..

What if I said, it could.

The Bad Guy

We love getting the bad guys.

But what happens when WE are the bad guys?

Colonialism made the people who follow it, the bad guys.

Society is the bad guy.

Colonialism leads to this society.

Quiet

How can we be people who believe in God and not get along?

Are we that afraid of each other?

Can we realize that our fear makes others fear us,

 Because when we are afraid, we strike out.

That if we don't fear each other most of our problems will fade away.

The United States is trying to be strong, making people fear us,

We fear other people who are being afraid of us.

But God, people...So that means we are afraid of God.

I mean if we are afraid of each other and God is everything, therefore us,

Then when we fear each other , we fear God.

I believe we are the mouth, eyes, ears, fingers, and tongue of God.

We need to listen to the people.

 We need to listen to ourselves.

The self we started out as.

We need to be quiet so God can hear us and we can hear God.

I can bring quiet to my surroundings, but only all of us can bring quiet to each other.

A Wing And A Prayer

If God is here with us,

What does that mean to us?

I mean, if God is here, and I do feel God to be

Then why are we fighting so hard to be free?

Shouldn't freedom be throughout the world?

Our heart open to each other and waving like a flag unfurled?

But we have always fought for control.

Control of each other

Probably because we couldn't control ourselves, our spouse, or brother.

So we have to be leader or have a gang or just be a part

Of a country, a group, a religion, an idea, so we can start

Our day with a purpose, to believe in something

To have our minds soar on air upon  a wing.

Upon a wing and a prayer is all of our hopes.

We look up and see the sun as we think or dream

And we feel God...oh how this helps us cope

But I always wonder how can we be on God's team

When we do not seem to be together

Or at least when we think we all are such birds of a different feather?

I would suggest that God wants us on the same page....

Different is wondrous and beauty is multicolored

For God shines to us...to all of us

Whether we be bird or person or what?

We Can Do Anything

People - We can do anything.

We can be so good.

Yet we are being - and have been, so bad...(as a people.)

To my friends: I want to help the world...

You know that...and you may even believe I know what I'm talking about.

But the fact that I'm such a small fish in the sea...

When even presidents have a hard time changing big stuff...

Well, I need you  to help me.

Help me to start changing the world starting with you...or rather...us

Saying you believe in me as Eric....like you believe in you as you...

We alone cannot save a thing...

But we together can be anything we dream of....

We can be a world at peace.

Tell everyone you know...that you know of a person who thinks he can help ALL of us...

And if we help him...who knows...

We certainly won't know if we don't try.

I am ready to try...

Please help me by telling others you know someone ready to try and help the whole planet...

And that I am helping him by telling you this...

The place of our dreams

To each other

And then we will really see what we can see.

We know what to do.

I believe I can show us the way to ourselves as 1 human race

I believe I can get us to each other

And maybe even to who knows what?

To your dreams

To my dream

To Peace on Earth.

Because we all really do want Peace.

To not have something like Peace is silly.

And I know better

Out of the Box

We need to think out of the box.

Right now we are thinking in this box (life)

And we have ourselves bound and gagged in here

Yet somehow we are all managing to talk at once anyway...

So you...we....have the present -

A place that we feel trapped in; we're screaming...praying ...to be heard

And who is listening....   only God....

Well God wants us to start listening to one another

To see the chains we have ourselves held down/back by

And breathe and relax and say....."hold on people" to each other

And make peace.

Right now we are praying to get out of this box.....as a people if possible

With little hope that we can reach peace

Yet still we Pray we do though.

If we make peace....

Then we can open the lid on this place...

Or rather the box will simply not be there anymore....

How can we be giving thanks when this holiday

And America itself was built on the death

This life of ours...

We are being fake, plastic, impatient and selfish.

That is being human right now

Or that is where WHITE society has brought the world

We (white society) need to change

We know the past white society screwed native peoples

It wasn't you and me individually, but it is how we were built...

The Muslim world is not going to let us move on without fixing the past

The past needs fixing...we know this....and we can do this.

Fix the past.

We need to start being nice to one another...all of us...

For without us all, we're none...

No matter what we do or believe...

We have to learn to stop for one another and think by ourselves...

We need to be able to sleep well (all of us)

Knowing people all around this amazing planet

Are doing right by it and "me" (all of us.)

So how do we do right by each other?

Do we trust each other now?

I think we do, but we are moving so much that we bump into each other

And because of money

We end up doing harm to one another

Even if we aren't personally or even directly harming others

Because of money, we (all of us)

Contribute in some way by buying something

Made by some company which exploits this planet in some way

The material world is exploiting this place

And we need to stop

We can stop, but we all have to do it

And because we think we can't

Shouldn't be enough to keep us from doing what we really CAN.

We have to make things right with everybody.

You know this.

And you think we can't. God doesn't think we can't.

I'm here to tell you we can.

I'm here to tell you you we can get along.

All of us

All get along.

We can all get along because I can help us get to the place where we can be.

PEACE, the place where we can be.

With your help, I can get us to peace -

Just like with my help, you can take us to peace.

So where is this place? Where can peace exist?

Right here, under our noses.

But we have cut off our noses to spite our face...

So we aren't sure where to look.

And in our heart we have either hidden or reserved it -

Or are loving as much as we can

But when we don't feel love back from the world...

But from God -We feel God's love...

We know the way to live because of God.

But, how can we ALL follow God?

Because right now it seems we are not following God.

How can we all follow the Sun and the Moon?

The Sun is God's shining path

The Moon is God's breast to admire

And we are God's children

With this garden to tend.

That is our job - To do right by this garden.

We have taken life so that we may survive - that is okay, for now...the past.

But now...the present...Now we need to give back to this place....to here.

Life is not only for us, together, or alone...

Life belongs to the universe...

Life belongs to God...

Life belongs to each of us...

I will share this life if you will....What do you say?...How about you God?

I know....you are sharing already.

Why do we want God to be here?

Why do we believe in God?

Is it because we want to be happy?

I think God has already shown us how to be happy -

And that is through each other.

Believing in each other is the way to our happiness.

I personally am just trying to feel the signs all around us,

The lessons people in our past have taught us,

The lessons we learn every moment.

It's not that I don't want people to follow me,

We need to follow one another

Because only in ALL is our hope

Not me, not you, ALL.

EVERYPERSON

I believe God has told me this:

That we need to be together

That we need to let God be along for OUR ride, not the other way around

God is waiting for us

When we are where we need to be, God is there

It's just we need to go there first

If we just listen, God is standing by to help

In places where there is so much noise (maybe in our own head), one can never hear just hear themselves, hearing God is imperative

But are we hearing God or someone else tell us how we should listen to God?

Or are we (as I had told myself up to now) ...I should say, is our brain so quick that we can make the clouds move to what we are thinking and songs come on that speak to us, and being able to sense everything around me and what this whole universes purpose is.... is just little ole me? Well......so be it....all I know is if I keep thinking about you and you start thinking of me, we'll be alright....As in you and me being any ole person....boy/girl/young/old/nationality/race....everyperson....

I am saying, listen in silence and be true with yourself of what you hear and who you were/are

And I will bet my life that you hear peace and tranquility

And that is what God has shown you we can be.

And I am telling you that we can be that tranquil peaceful place

And without turning in to what we are afraid of being

Which is one another

Yet we are one so like one another

How confusing...

Focus on yourself helping others

There is our answer

Not God as yours or mine or how we want God to be

Focus on yourself doing the right thing

Because that is when God is in our breath

And while God does scare us (me at least)

Truth is truth

And love aches

And when we ache from feeling God we don't have to be afraid or put  God on a pedestal,

We are what makes God ache, us being human

Doing what we think is best

Listening to the world around us and making healthy decisions

Healthy for ourselves and healthy for others

But what is healthy...?  right?

If I do something you don't approve of, I am not healthy to you...

 All I know is....we need with all our hearts to not do harm to others....not directly or indirectly

And no matter how impossible that seems,

If enough people make this OUR goal

We can eventually do it...

Because I feel (how about you?) that we are dead without doing this...

So, "Can't," can't be a possibility....

IMAGINE

WE would have been one of God's creatures who actually managed to stop killing themselves.

WHAT TO DO

I believe we all know what to do.

Whatever country we are from, we know we need to get along with the rest of the world.

Whatever religion we are, we know we need to get along with the rest of the world.

We just think we can't...

Who doesn't think we can't?

You?

I think we can....if we just do it. (Yes, like the ad...)

PEACE

Do you think we can't?

Or is it that you think: Because ALL of us think we can't, we can't?

So now you are speaking for all of us.

So what I think would be good for us, is to ask each other what we want:

DO WE WANT PEACE?

    And if the answer is no, then fine...I for one can deal with that.

BUT IF THE ANSWER IS, YES?

The reality of peace, is such a big thing, when really maybe all it will take is honest communication.

Telling each other we know we need peace in order for us to survive in the long run on this planet.

And that while we're pretty sure we can do nothing about it right now, we wish we could reach peace.

And that yes, we'd be willing to change for the planet to get better, but we'd want to make sure we didn't end up worse off  than we are now.

It looks like our fear of making things worse is stopping us from moving forward.

For most people on this planet, things look pretty bad already.

So for the part of the world's population that has ended up on the shorter end of the stick -

People in this part will be trying to "enlighten" the other part -

To see what is going on.

To try and have us realize, you cannot have that if we have this

And how can you have so much when I have so little

And why do I have to become one of you, in order for my life to be okay?

Because living like I am now with you living as you are

And all of us on this planet we are supposed to be sharing

You see, we all know we should be sharing this place

You know it

And I know it.

And all we have to do

Is tell one another.

FEAR

I killed a teeny tiny spider this morning.

Why?

Was I in danger?

I guess I was just scared of it.

People's fear of the unknown has helped our race get to the present.

But it has also led us to be very efficient killers.

And we here in the United States are probably the best killers.

And we are proud of being American because no other government has shown us a better way.

So now we have the "terrorists" who are plain afraid of us.

They don't know what we will do with our planet.

And WE ARE in control.

The thing is: We don't know WHAT we are doing.

We are living out our history the same as everybody else.

Trying to be the best we can be.

Mostly, we are trying to be FREE.

And if maintaining our freedom, means we have to kick some ass, so be it.

But people, and I mean ALL people: Think about how we got to the present.

People in the past, whether they knew better or not, were acting upon the fear of the unknown.

Mostly, we (I like "we" better than "they") were a bunch of homophobic cutthroat assholes.

We were, and still are in the "survival of the fittest" stage of our history.

If we don't learn to go to the next stage:

The "World Peace" stage -

I for one, can't see how we can survive.

Here's the thing:

WE ALL WANT WORLD PEACE!

So people: Killing the spider we don't understand is killing us as well.

We need to stop killing in order to be superior.

It may have gotten us this far, but it doesn't appear to me that it will get us to the future.

So the next spider or maybe mosquito, what will I do?

WARMAKERS

So what people?

Are we going to kill everybody?

Israel...are you going to wipe out all of those who don't believe in you?

You are only giving others more reason to hate you.

And to all would be Israel/American/big government haters:

Whatever noble purpose you may think you have,

As soon as you start killing...

You are on the Darkside of life.

The side you are supposedly against.

Killing only brings more killing.

War brings more war.

So, I hope you warmakers are having fun...

But the rest of us think it's probably time to stop...

Before you AND they AND us ARE dead.

And if any of you out there, think dead is better

Because life sucks so much...

Who is it that is causing this life to suck?

The killers, the warmakers.

Which at the moment, includes EVERYONE.

So for all of us who would rather NOT have war,

Speak up, because right now, we are ALL warmakers.

GO THE DISTANCE

What are we doing?

Right now, what are we doing?

We are praying, playing, drinking, eating, breathing...

We are living...plain and simple.

Except living with billions of people is not so plain and simple...

At least in that we cannot control what goes on around us...

Unless we have enough money...right?

So we all strive for money...

Just enough to live...

Or enough to control a little bit of the world around us...

Or enough to control a lot of the world around us.

The United States was started by people who wanted freedom.

The original settlers took over this land forcibly from the native people who were here.

The United States now (for the most part) offers everyone the chance to be in control of their own destiny...

With hard work and a little luck, some money, and maybe a bit of help...

Any one can do anything...

I believe it is time for us to go the distance in reaching peace.

We have fought all of our past...back since people first populated this planet...

We have fought for survival...

Fighting each other for survival is no longer a possibility if we hope to survive.

War must end...all war.

If an Adolph Hitler begins to make noise, his/her friends need to let that person know

There is no place for killing other people...

Not any more.

We need to go the distance to peace.

PEACE

We have the power

To not let a 'Titanic' happen to this planet - to us.

We have the power to keep people from sinking each other.

We can keep ourselves from sinking our own boat.

But we are so easily turned away from even thinking about peace on our planet.

How can I  stop having periods of time that I just vegetate and watch TV

When I could be breathing in the air and enjoying nature?

When I drink things are fine, but I'm not looking at life then

Like TV, it is either pretend or we are looking at other people's lives...

Which I know is the point....

To entertain each other...

And we are good at pretending...

We need to not look at life at times to remain healthy.

But how can we turn away AND look at the same time?

We work to get money, to live, and it keeps our eye off of life's problems...

Unless one's job is to change life for the better.

But unless we all agree on what is better, even better is not better.

We all need to agree.

How can I help us to get to....everyone agreeing?

ALL AGREE

On what?

On that we need to agree.

We can decide what we should agree on after.

So how do I get us there?

LIGHT

Teaching a class is a personal thing.

The people who aren't in the class might think something is wrong,

That the teacher is not doing it right.

If people learn, how is the teacher wrong?

To me the role of a teacher (i.e.God)

Is for the class not to need the teacher.

A teacher is a crutch.

Yes, a guiding light, but only if the light is used to see by.

The bottom line is people want to learn

If we learn then we don't need the teacher.

If we all can be the guiding light,

God would have taught us well

And more importantly

We would have learned well enough

To be the light.

Is gone.

We watch TV or go to the bathroom or some other part of living

We are on the ball spinning because it is what we do

But that picture of ourselves is lost to the mechanics of living.

I believe that to help this planet we need to keep all of us in mind.

We are our chance.

If we don't believe in each other, what chance do we have?

And if we don't have a chance, then what choice do we have?

We must try for peace with all of our hearts.

We could fail...yes, but it makes sense that we will fail if we do not risk failing.

If we do nothing, we have now.

People are at odds with each other.

You not trusting me and me not trusting you.

We have now.

I think we can do better than now, what do you think?

I just want to be able to breathe and know that we are not a threat to one another.

I think we would all like this.

Just because this is not possible now, does not mean it cannot be possible in the future.

Let us bring peace to the future.

Let us bring peace to the future, now.

SATISFIED

Most of us tend not to let people go in front of us on the road.

Mostly because we can't be bothered with them

Because we think they can't be bothered by us.

I think (What about you?)

That right now, and probably for always

We think there isn't anything that we do that matters.

We think that no matter what we do

Other people - our parents especially - won't be satisfied

So I may as well not worry about messing up

Because that's what they expect (Can you say teenager?)

The problem with this is

Is that we aren't worrying about what we should do for ourselves.

Or you're only thinking about what you can do for yourself.

Are we simply throwing life away because what else is there to do

Since nothing we do will make Mom (or Dad) happy anyway

And even after Mom dies...

We think we aren't worthy still?

So how can we be worthy?

Are we already worthy?

Were we born worthy?

Can we be satisfied with ourselves?

So we can be satisfied with each other - even Mom.

OFF WITH MY HAT

When we talk about stuff with other people in our life, it is usually job (or sport) related.

Our family is personal, and

We hardly talk to our family about our family

So why would we share with a neighbor?

Yet often we end up just needing to tell someone

 Strangers (or rocks) are often at hand when we run away emotionally.

So, basically, we end up telling no one, or someone we just met, who isn't in the position to help...

And we never talk to the people close to us who care.

Because we are soooooo upset with them......AGAIN!

That is why we pray and/or believe and/or hope

God understands us/

Or maybe...just...that we ARE okay;

Because otherwise, we are utterly alone

Or at least we feel that way.

Why do the people who are close, hurt us so much?

Do we expect too much?

Should our family be able to love, listen, and understand us, all the time?

That would be nice.

If you are among those who do, my hat is off to you.

OUT OF OUR CONTROL

Taking dead animals off the road...

When we die

Do we want to be left on some road?

Run over, again and again

Until we become apart of the road?

Often, that is what happens to little creatures...

Like us killing them wasn't enough

We now squash them to smithereens.

I think we are okay with this

(Not that we'd want this for us - but if it happened - oh well)

Because we mostly think being dead is dead

No matter what (if anything) happens after.

After death is out of our control.

We may believe in something - yet, its happening is not in our control.

We can control how we die, and our faith may have us believing in what is after

Yet the reality of after death is not in our control.

HURTING GOD

After a long conversation with Ricardo and Kaissa and little one

Sharing their heart with Jesus....I said (hesitantly):

We're beyond Jesus, Mohammed,

We're beyond the bible, Koran, torah...

We need to combine beginning people's honoring of life

With the knowledge we have now

And move on to a place

Where all of our feelings are okay

Where all of our lives matter

As equally as everyone else's

And be whole.

Being whole - what does that mean and entail?

What do we have to do?

In reality.

All we have to do is agree we need to do it.

We can do it by believing in each other.

It's all about heart.

Can we have the heart to get to peace?

If God exists, God is us, beginning of story, middle of story, end of story.

By hurting ourselves or one another we are hurting God....if God exists

And even if God does not, we are hurting this existence and that is not the right thing to do.

Why would we want to hurt ourselves or God?

We don't....yet we are.......and we don't want to...

And we think people should believe what we do and we will be fine.

I think we just need to know and remember we are all here together

And we all belong and want to live as best as possible.

We can make "the best as possible" okay for everyone.

God would want us to...

WORLD,

I want us to reach peace now.

Not tomorrow, not in a hundred years, not a thousand, now - today.

Tomorrow would be okay I guess

Or maybe in a week or two.

I guess a year or so would be okay   as long as we do it.

Ten years....fine. A 100 okay    even a thousand.

But right now, thinking about this place...

Is it possible we won't ever reach peace?

That maybe we were destined to be weak in the mind and make toast of each other, and this planet.

Maybe even worse than the movies where they actually show something left...

Who knows.....Well if you say God knows......I know God has told us what to do about us and we are simply too scared at the moment to do it.

And I also say that about ourselves at least...you and me...we have control; over ourselves and we can do peace...if I can think it and you can think it...we can do it.

PEOPLE: WE CAN BE FRIENDS

AND TOGETHER WE CAN GET US TO THAT SPOT.

And I am going to try and help put us there.

And you are going to try and help put us there.

And together we will have put ourselves there.

At peace.

Now.

But how do we reach peace?

How can almost 7 billion people get together?

By telling each other, your friends, coworkers, acquaintances, everyone you see,

That you want peace.

We all WOULD be telling each other we want peace.

LISTENING

We have developed into

Over the last thousand or so years

A people who listen from above.

We live right in front of us

And we listen to above us

When we can.

We need to give ourselves the chance to listen more.

What we hear alone, seems personal to us   alone.

When we listen together, we hear together.

In our religions   together, we hear, and are moved to action...

For all of us to understand each other, we need to listen to each other.

But how can we listen when we all are talking?

How can we listen when we are not together?

Do we need all 6+ billion of us to listen together?

If we actually did ALL stop and listen      together

What would we hear?

How would we respond to the silence?

Would God fill in the silence?

The answer would be clear if we listen for it        together.

THINK

We need to think.

We can figure this out.

We can be okay.

We are loving people.

Really!

Besides....no matter what happens

Even if we kill one another

And make this planet uninhabitable for lifetimes

God is still with us

So why not do better?

Why not think of a better way?

We need to think.

YOU & ME

Is life feeling urgent?

And is that why we need to turn ourselves off?

Are we confused what to do?

I think we are sensing we need to act.

We are pushing each other

We have always pushed on each other

Over power

Over who has it. Or we try to stay away from power. Or we try to be friendly with power.

Or we fight power.

It doesn't appear to us that we can share this place

Because we think we--people--can't share power (We know this from history.)

(History is not the future.)

Do we need to be able to share power for the human race--us--to survive?

......

We all know this answer is yes.

......

So how do we -share power?

How can we get to peace if we share power? (It's the sharing that counts.)

I think we think: What happens if we try and we can't? Then we would really prove to ourselves we are weak useless excuses of life-people who can't even figure out, how to get along with themselves.

.....

What if our chance to get along with ourselves is tied up with us getting along with each other?

I think we will only be at peace with ourselves, when we have made peace with all people.

That until we do this,  we can't be at peace no matter what----God included---that, even if God openly showed himself to us it wouldn't matter.....because all he would say is that you already know what to do, you just need to be nice to one another....what else would he say ? What else is there to say that can help us?....We are together and we are pushing each other apart......we are pushing each other apart because we are confused as people....we are confused because we are supposed to be together....we are SUPPOSED TO GET TOGETHER at this point in our development.....and if we don't we are toast...I mean it LOOKS like we will make toast of each other.....look how we treat children....look how we treat each other......people have NEVER lived in harmony as big groups....only little groups....

It is time for us to live together as a big group.

We will only be at peace when we reach out our hearts to everyone and honor this place and each other and get along.

...

We're not," is not acceptable.

Because if we're not, then we have nothing left to lose.

We are lost already. And since we must be feeling that, even if we don't stomach it, breathe it in because it is too unsettling, too hard to keep thinking about....that/this is where God comes in.

God created everything

So he must have more for us

He wouldn't have brought us here if we had no chance.

We do have a chance

God HAS given us the chance

And we are killing it.

THE MIND OF PEACE

Is it  too late to change?

Too late for peace?

Was there ever a chance?

I'm okay with leading us

Because the option of no peace....

The possibility of it being too late...

We can't let it get too late!

So what do we have to change?

First of all, why would you listen to me?

My voice and your voice needs to be of the same mind....

The mind of peace.

Clean water

Making sure water stays clean

We don't need to do much

The Water Cycle does it for us

Honor water

All people being able to drink clean water

Half a liter in the morning

Half a liter during the day

Half a liter at night

Throw in breathing some clean air

And there will be peace on Earth
