People, we think we can�t do anything about our life, that God has a plan.

I say we get ourselves together and work as a team.

DO WE WANT TO GET OUT OF THIS  MESS?

For a little over thirty years, I have been talking to people of all ages, rich and poor people, military folks and civilians, people of all religious beliefs and from various places in our world about what they think of our life. Do they wish things could be different? In a perfect world, would they rather be living in peace? And the answer 100% of the time, after I have been told by way more than half of the people that world peace is NOT possible, that, �Yes� in my heart� I wish that our world could be a peaceful place.�

My premise is that, �Come on people, if we really want world peace then what the _ _ _ _  are we doing? We need to be telling each other every day, that we want world peace now!�

HOW DID WE GET IN THIS MESS?

 We are human beings with human traits, such as fear, love, hopes, dreams, lust and paranoia to name but a few. We certainly have had to protect ourselves from the outside world which includes other people. Most of us FINALLY understand no one group of people is more important or better than any other. As a species we are acting as though we can exist through killing off people; and in the past this may have worked for the victor, but in the present, what we have is a planet of people which is dangerously out of control.

The more society tries to gain or keep control, the more that some people will try and shake things up because after all, isn�t that how we here in America started? One of our earthly traits is to not like being caged. Until all of us can roam free enough to want to be a part of the world order, we will have major difficulties. It is time we understand that this is true and work together to plan for all of our futures�We need to believe that we have one future�.

To believe that we cannot do this is to sell the human condition short. Like I stated above, we DO all want to have a peaceful planet and while we can wait and hope and pray that in the future there will be a future, that some people�s walls will be left standing or that after this life we will get another chance, the bottom line is that we want to breathe freely, not fearing the desperate thoughts of this life pounding on us from without and within. And while the solution may be God and/or capitalism, I believe in my heart what most of us already know, that money is not the answer and God wants us to get along. Life has brought us to where we are, but whether we as a species gets to the future is certainly not a clear picture.

HOW DO WE GET OUT OF THIS MESS?

Okay, so so far you have learned nothing new and if people like Barak O�bama or Nelson Mandela, or Dr. King, or Jesus can�t get us to world peace what makes me think I can make a difference? Well, by the time you read this, IF you read this, maybe indeed Barak will have set society straight and have us moving more humanly. The simple fact we elected him is a MAJOR step in our trying to set the record straight. We do not want to be known as the group who killed off the Native Americans. We do not like that we are supplying the guns which kill our own people. There is a mountain of stuff we don�t like about ourselves.

What DO we like about ourselves?  We like ourselves as babies. We like sex. We like seeing ourselves in pictures. We like God. We like the sun and fresh air/water. We like people smiling at us...until at some point life gets so bad that even the above seems false/wrong. Many of us like drinking and smoking, feeling high...all of us like feeling loved, feeling something.

The bottom line is that we need to figure out our future. I hope I, like you, can help us do just that.
